Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. She is best known for her character Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for acting in the Preparatory school, before moving to Ohio together with her family during the late 1970s. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career in Chicago and worked in theater parts for a number of years. After that, she relocated to Hollywood and began acting in films and TV shows. Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. In addition, she was on Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Then it was not until the end of the 1990s when she was cast in an acting role on The Practice. The mid-2000's saw her was cast in Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008, she was picked as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Also, she starred in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn was on stage to star in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. in 2022 Gunn was a part of a four-part audio-play show called "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and final break-up echoes the final years in Walter White's personal life.
